Visual Outcomes Scenario

Background
This is a short scenario created for interactive public demonstration. Created to show at the Lectora Users Conference keynote, this is a fun twist on a branching scenario; allowing the learner to see all the choices they've made as their story builds.

Features

  • Centralized: all selections made are centralized on one page; reducing complexity as code or requirements change.
  • Dynamic and re-purposed elements: design and functional elements like lock images and buttons are reused and moved dynamically on the page based on variables and conditions.
  • Example of integrating usable templates: leverages a branching scenario "engine" I created to track and retain selections and scoring.
  • Feedback based on selections: selections made impact feedback.
  • Twist on traditional multiple choice: shows how decisions can be made with images rather than text.

How to play

This scenario allows you to to see the impacts of different choices you make in a day. Click panels as they unlock, then make selections based on the options you are provided. Once your story is built, you'll receive a score and see feedback about the impacts of your decisions.
